Ensuring that visitors and Belizeans take notice of the gorgeous south, this past weekend the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) hosted local media on a tour to this southern district.
In an effort to promote the South’s beauty, BTB hosted media house from around the country on a tour of Eladio Pop’s cacao plantation, Lubaantun, Hokeb Ha Cave, Snake Caye and the beautiful resorts available. According to Lorraine Herrera, Product Officer for BTB, the tour was organized as a way to promote the south to visitors and Belizeans. Toledo is the perfect getaway for a fun vacation – tropics, mountains, and ruins combine to offer you the best vacation you could possibly have. Come on, what are you waiting for?
