On Friday night, the event, which the seniors look forward to, was well attended and supported by members of the community. According to Lions President, Melanie Paz, the event was a great success and the turnout was overwhelming. “This year’s event saw the largest crowd we have ever hosted in recent years,” expressed Paz. She stated that, “We are grateful for the response and we look forward in seeing them next year.”

    Over 50 citizens were hosted to a turkey dinner with all its trimmings, drinks and music. In addition, they also received a gift donated by the Lions members and the Belize Bank Limited. Paz stated that she is very grateful to everyone who made the event a success including The Belize Bank staff, Atlantic Bank Limited, Casa Pan Dulce and all Lions members.

    On Sunday, the San Pedro Lions Club also hosted over 100 children to the Annual Children Christmas Party. The children got the opportunity to take pictures with Santa after receiving gifts and a bag of goodies.

    On Thursday, December 24th, the general public is invited to be a part of the Annual Lions Caroling through the streets of San Pedro. Meet the Lions and get ready to roar beginning at 6:00 p.m. from the Den. Merry Christmas from the San Pedro Lions Club!
