The San Pedro Lions Club was in full action over the weekend. First, they made two visits on Friday morning where they donated food items to a school and a sick resident on the island. The first stop brought club members to local resident Dale Ellis where members of the club handed him with much needed food items. Ellis expressed his gratitude to the club for their generous donation.

    The club members then travelled to Holy Cross Anglican School in the San Mateo Area where they also handed over food items. According to the school management, the items will be used as part of the school’s feeding

    program. On Sunday, the club was back in action and delivered a truck filled with clothing to the residents of San Mateo Area of San Pedro Town. The clothes will be distributed to needy families in the community.

    The donation given out to the community is part of the club’s main goals; to serve the people of the community.

    The San Pedro Lions Club invites the general public to the Carnaval Fair on Saturday, February 13th, 2010. Carnaval masks, Mardi Gras beads, teddy bears, flashing bouncy balls will all be on sale. Stop by the booth and visit the Lions.

    The San Pedro Lions Club continues to sell their raffle tickets and the raffle prizes will be drawn on February 13th, 2010 at the Carnaval Fair.
