After a ten year hiatus the Miss Chiquitita Pageant is back. The general public is cordially invited to be a part of the selection of the new mini-queen who will reign for the year 2010-11. This time around, six lovely young ladies are vying for the prestigious crown. Preparations are being made and the six angels are practicing non-stop for the night which will prove to be filled with glamour and entertainment.
The six hopefuls are Adrianne Henkis, seven-year-old; Victoria Moguel, seven-year-old; Gabriella Alexander, five-year-old; Leilani Alamilla, six-year-old; Naomi Rivero, six-year-old; and Marcela Bonilla, four-years-old. The girls will compete in a couple categories which will include swimsuit, talent and evening wear.
The event will be held at the Old Football Field on March 20th at 7:00 p.m. Local entertainment by the San Pedro Dance Company and Barbara’s Dance Group will also take place during the night. Food and drinks will be on sale and islanders may purchase their entrance tickets at SP Preschool or Island Magic. Tickets run for $10 adults and $5 children. The 2010 Miss Chiquitita is coming soon, make sure you purchase your ticket and see you at the Old Football Field.
