These images were taken with my Canon underwater still camera while snorkeling right off the beach in front of my condo.

Harriette, there was an Electric Eel hanging around our dock on Friday.

Harriette, start on the link above and from that site, you'll be able to also search the pictures of the Lesser electric rays. I think you will then easily see that your picture is not a Lesser electric ray.

That said, I agree with you, regarding the particular markings on your ray! I wasn't able to find another like it, so far anyway. It is a beauty, whatever it turns out to be. Great shot, thanks again.
