Lagniappe is an excellent service. We had the freshest produce from SimonB. After our lettuce ran out, we couldn't find any near as nice as what Lagniappe had brought us. We'll use his service again, and order MORE next time.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I try and keep my beer, wine and liquor prices the same as you would find in the supermarket (actually a lot lower than one particular store.) You can get it cheaper from the distributor but you also have to get there and haul it around which is what we're here for.

Thanks for the feedback. We are definitely buying all of our groceries from Lagniappe...no worries, we have heard great things and plan on giving them TONS of business while we are there for the week C'mon, 9 of the 16 of us are guys and they eat like there's no tomorrow! I guess we were just a little shocked by the price of the beer...and considering we will be drinking WAY TOO MUCH of it that week we were just looking to see if it was any less expensive elsewhere. San Pedro Distributors uses a fleet of wagons drawn by John Deere tractors to deliver beer and sodas. That'll give you some idea of the road conditions.

I saw those tractors but I thought they only dealt with the business owners. Unless this was just a joke on me, you're telling me I can buy directly from them? Man this board has some really great information on it!
