Hi! Glad you all are down! Where are you staying/what area?

I think Elvi's would be great for kids and adults, especially Friday nights with the Mayan Buffet which is great. How about The Reef Restaurant? They have a large menu and some simply items kids would like too like chicken or fried chicken/french fries. The pizza shops would work well for a casual dinner that kids would enjoy too.

I would never take a big group to Blue Water Grill, especially with kids.

El Divino at Banana Beach has a great menu which includes burgers, quesadillas and other stuff kids would like, as well as great choices for adults and a wonderful bar, Jambel's Jerk Pit; Fido's is fun and has a variety, although you lose a bit in quality, if you want a bit more upscale try Casa Picasso - they have an expansive menu and would probably be willing to make items not on the menu for the kids - another place with a great bar.

Care to elaborate as to why you would opt out of the blue water grill for a large party?

overpriced for the quality of the food, service sucks and I don't think there's much on the menu for kids - but that's just my opinion

The Blue Water has french fries. And plain noodles with butter. And salad with no dressing. And taco chips.

And Calientes is a great family/big group spot. Go Wednesday and buy the kids a few squares!

Take 'em to Pedro's. He loves lots of kids.

that's just going to frighten the small children - and possibly some of the adults.
