Wow. It sounds like at the rate Denny is going, next trip everything will fit into his pants pockets! Seriously, thanks for all the great advice. Basically it looks like bug spray, (we are going to stay in the jungle for a few days) aloe, sun screen, several swimming suits, some T-shirts, very basic medical stuff (wife is an FNP so there will be a first aid kit) and most importantly, a laid back attitide!

One great suggestion is nylon pants for the jungle with zippered legs that can be removed for San Pedro.

We usually buy a stack of t-shirts at the touristy places where u can get 10 for $20. Something tells me that won't be the case in Belize. When the cheap graphics on them wear off, we know it is time to go somewhere else!

There used to be a T-shirt warehouse/outlet kind of place in Belize City. I can't remember the name of it, sorry. It was across a main road from a very large grocery store. Can anyone more familiar with Belize City help me out here? TIA

Oh, and the good T-shirts were more like 3 for 50.

I go along with the advice to bring lots of underwear. You can find yourself changing it a couple of times a day. Bras can get nasty too.

I just know I am going to hate myself for asking this... why would you need to change your underwear several times a day? I guess the easy soLution would be to go commando! And who wears bras on the island? eek
