My husband and I are trying to plan a trip to Belize in the middle of may. Will it be too hot and miserable in the jungle at that time? Has anyone else been there in may and where did you stay?

I went this past May for the 1st time, stayed at Corona Del Mar on AC and did several day trips(the hotel can arrange them for you or you can arrange them on your own) to the mainland. The weather was beautiful(a little hot and humid but being from Florida I am pretty used to that , but there was a great breeze every day).Corona Del Mar was a very nice place- quiet,clean, reasonably priced, GREAT staff, lovely rooms with great views and yet still close to the downtown area. I would highly recommend it and can't wait until i can go back again.

Corona del Mar is for sale, however.

:rolleyes: Perhaps the "good" things (owners and staff) won't be the same if Corona del Mar sells? Just a thought.....

You can't predict what the outcome will be, the new owners may out do the current owners. I would doubt that the staff would change and it's not fair to pre-judge the new operation (if it does get sold).

...but, it's July 1st?

I really hope that if Corona Del Mar does sell,not much changes unless for the better(though that may be hard to accomplish). Lan,do you know why they are selling? I especially hope the staff can remain, especially Frank 'cause according to him "it's all good".
