We will be in Belize City for 1 day prior to our flight out and would like to be somewhat close to the airport as well as close to SOMETHING to do. We have looked at the Best Western Biltmore Plaza and the Princess Casino. Which would you recommend---we need help from the experts!

The Princess is ocean front with a nice bar and restaurant, casino, bowling alley and movie theater.

Thanks. How far away is San Ignacio from the airport if we were to stay around there? My concern would be having to take a water taxi or a long taxi drive to get to the airport. Is the Princess pretty close to the airport?

San Ignacio is at least 2 hours drive from the airport. The Biltmore is closer to the airport but the Princess has more to do under the roof. I've stayed at both and I would vote for the Princess. Its about 15 minutes to the airport from the Princess and 5 minutes from the Biltmore.

ive been to the princess before, and its nice, and elegant. i would recomend it over any other.

The Princess and Biltmore are total dumps when it comes to spending the night-the Raddison is the only place to stay but the Princess is fun to go to as it has a cinema,gambling and on thursday/friday nights a lively bar

Princess is horrible (that smell?) ,Radisson the most expensive, Biltmore a good option with a pool, Great House quaint, Villas Boscardi and DNest less expesnive options.

Is villas boscardi open?

but the princess has alot to do there casino, movie theater, .... i didn't smell anything when i went there, but i also didn't stay in any of the rooms
