I looked at just about all of the airlines, but we were leaning towards Continental. We are about 2 hours from Houston, an hour from Austin.

Texasqueen, we also are an hour from Austin...south (Bell Co). Are you south? north? east or west? We have booked through Dallas on AA nonstop to Belize City simply for the convenience - time and no plane changes. When I was searching I found that Continental to Houston was a good connection, and then TACA flies out of IAH. I think I saw that it was associated with Delta Airlines....?

Just FYI: I just found tickets through Priceline for TACA at $301 per person and that is with all taxes! We will be saving about $400 if we do this, thanks for the help!

What type of aircraft does TACA use? Is it really tiny?
