Hey guys,

Another question. How strict are hotels with non-patrons hanging out at the pool? Is there a fee to go into the nicer places? I'm staying at Pedros Hostel...Can't really afford much more than that right now.

Depends on the Hotel. I know Captain Morgans doesn't mind you using their pool if you visit their bar a few times while you are there. They will try to pitch a timeshare to you, but otherwise, it's a great pool. It's a ways from Pedros though...

I can think of several places that are fine with you swimming in their pool... obviously you are eating and drinking from their hotel restaurant.

Why not look at places that don't have a pool, but have an arrangement with another that let's the guests use the pool. Have you looked at Changes in Latitude?
