My boats where missing this morning when I arrived at the dive shop. I was worried at first but then remembered its the Day of the year Boats of San Pedro men get blessed by the Roman Catholic priest in the village.

Early this morning there was a ceremony where the Catholic Priest blessed the fleet of boats and crews...an annual event during San Pedro Day celebration.

Its worth getting up early for, quite a show.
All the boats and captains/fishermen gather in the back bay and the priest in his full regalia with procession, Bless in ceremony the men and their boats that face the perils of the sea to make a living.
