Looking for easy cleaning tips for sink taps (other than clr)

Are you talking about hard water deposits?? We use plain white vinegar . . works well.


When you find a big kettle of crazy, it's best not to stir it.

Thanks all.

Talking minor rust and sometimes start to see blueish bits on it. Likely hard water deposits too. Will try vinegar. That is one thing among many that needs regular attention.

Rust and calcium require different treatments, but as I've never cleaned anything other than a dinner plate, I'll let someone who does housework tell you.....

I've used vinegar before and noticed it works a lot faster if you heat it first. Very actively removes calcium stains. Iron-out works for iron stains.

If you aren't worried about the finish and need to scrub the area, a piece of fine screen works really well


I can never remember which is better . . . safe? . . . or sorry?
