Maybe, these guys aren't saying. But they do say lionfish tastes good. Heat apparently kills the venom. This, plus the bounty mentioned in Marty's thread of 2/20, should be enough to makes us all Lionfish Hunters�. I'm in.

better be careful there skippy. If not fixed correctly lionfish could be deadly.

not confused, lunch on middle st. not on the menu, whole, deep fried and GOOD !

That's good news Ernie, I'm looking forward to trying it if it's ever offered anywhere again.

I had barracuda for the first time last month, it was great.

In Micronesia, you've got to watch what you eat. The locals have tolerance to some of the toxins that the native fish carry, so it's easy to get sick. It's very easy to get into trouble eating fish without knowing what's up. The same fish that's caught on one side of an island may be okay, on the other side of the same island it's toxic. The locals know.
