This seems to be more for Father's Day! Maybe it is to encourage the creating of new mothers....
I have seen so called exotic dangers in Belize before and they were tame compared to the regular punta dancing!

$10BZ for "Admission, Souvenier, GOURMET DINNER, Drinks, and Dessert". That's the funniest thing I have seen come out of San Pedro Town in years. Gourmet dinner..Good Grief!!

This is actually a really wonderful local event. I am a server at this party for the second year running and I can assure you that there is nothing like seeing 700 mothers and grandmothers partying and enjoying some great entertainment from Mexico. The event is subsidised, which is why it is so inexpensive to ensure that every mother can participate. The food is great, the drinks are limitless and quite frankly mothers rock and they deserve a great night out.
