Anyone know if it is possible to rent a small boat for 2-4 for fishing around AC ? We plan to do a charter one or two days but also want to try it on our own ... thanx !

all boats come with a captain.Too many things to bump into out there so no one rents just fishing boats.

Plenty of guides to take you fishing. Depending on what type of fishing you want. We fish and snorkel with Mr. Luz Guerrero. He docks his boat at the Holiday House but picks us up at our dock. My favorite fishing is with the shore lunch, prepared with our snapper catch of the morning.

It's possible to go it on your own, but not without being able to answer ALL of the important questions. Inshore of the reef there is a ton of coral to run into. Be prepared to prove to the boat owner that you have the credentials to keep his boat safe. If you are just a casual boat operator, AC isn't the place to get your Captain's wings!
