Hello everyone! As John mentioned in a previous thread, Bandage International is again returning to Belize and will be in San Pedro for the first week of Novemeber.
We are planning the following courses in partnership with the Belize Red Cross.
Basic First Aid / CPR Tues Nov 3rd & Wed Nov 4th, this is a full 2 day course that offers training to deal with a variety of medical emergencies and injuries. The course will run from 9am to approx 4pm both days.
Participants will receive a certificate when completed from the Belize Red Cross.
Course fees are $20 bze per person which goes directly to the red cross.

The location of the course will be announced as soon as it's confirmed.

For more information or to register please contact me at [email protected]

Thanks

I've been on this course and it is fantastic. I can't say enough good things about Bandage International, the Belize Red Cross and all of the folks involved. Highly recommended.

Signing up for the course, great thing to have here on the island! Just for the record, the Sandbar is no longer a Fido's property, not affiliated with Fido's. Is just The Sandbar. And have to say their pina coladas are TO DIE FOR!!! =)

Ohh, I don't intend to take the course, but will be there to help out.

good response so far to the course... our goal remains to continue to add to the number of people who have taken red cross certified training and in turn become qualified to train their friends and families on the island, building a pyramid of knowledge. This is how this knowledge will become self sustaining and continue to help in the long term. So please spread the word and let's get even more people involved...
