How crowded is AC on New Years Eve????Also what kind of weather to expect,& should reservations be made early!!! Like how early.

I've been there the last two New Years and can tell you it get very crowded. Most rooms were booked for the New Years weekend. Seems many people come in right after Christmas and stay through the New Year.
I would book when you sure you are going. You can always cancel if there is a problem. You'll want to start watching for deals on airline tickets by mid year.
I must add New Years on A.C. is a blast.

True Dat! I bumped into TC there and will attest he had a great time. The weather surprised me as it was overcast, alittle chilly on the water, and somewhat rainy the entire 10 days we were there--Placencia and AC. Regardless, we had a fabulous time. I think it was <$20us for the two of us to enter the Lion's Club and About the same for Fido's. The rain started about 11:30 and didn't let up for at least an hour.
Placencia was fabulous for relaxing and shaking of "The REal World". then head to AC for La Vida Pura", and some nightlife.
