I live up the coast where there is no spray truck. Can anyone tell me where I can buy a small electric fogger? The propane ones are so expensive to operate for a residence and inconvient too.

As a "local" about a rig they use that burns some local foliage in a coffee can. Makes smoke and the pest seem to stay away.

Jesse is correct coconut husks have a smell and slow burn will keep them away . try and not let the husks flame up that just burns quicker and doesn't smoke as much. You want a slow burn that smokes a lot.
I've noticed that closer to town coconuts are scarce . In my neighborhood the coconut men leave piles everywhere.
If you just want chemical weapons of mass destruction Casteo hardware has a propane burning foger that i've used in years past. expensive but gives a fog that works for hours.

All of our mosquitoes have finally died or disappeared. Phew. We can put the dogs out again at night.
