Awe! So happy you enjoy the french press! Bummer the Starbucks and Dunkin are gone. Maybe a nice message boarder who might be coming soon could bring one of them down for you. You deserve a nice cuppa joe with your hard work. Every since my first herbal cleanse in November I went from coffee addict to losing my taste for it and hardly being able to finish a cup. I think I have had no more than 5 cups since November.

I'm headed down April 28th for a week. I can bring you either Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks or both if you'd like. Let me know, I don't mind at all. I brought some stuff down last year for Snoopy's Mom.

That is pretty amazing *Ido* coffee cravings can be a hard one to shake. What was the cleanse you did?

Hi Taco, I've been doing the 10 day Advocare herbal cleanse every 90 days. I have to admit I was skeptical but since it was a cleanse that provided nutrients which also removes toxins and impurities while encouraging wholesome foods(not a fast) I tried it after several recommended it. I absolutely was firm that I would never give up my coffee after 14 years of coffee love and addition. The lady who first coached me told me it was common after the cleanse to lose desire for coffee and I would tell her "No, no, no, you don't understand, I won't ever lose my taste for coffee" I had no reason or desire to give it up, but I just naturally lost the taste after cleaning. And that, my friend, is my story wink

Regarding coffee on the island, Premium Wines and Spirits has some great coffee. I have purchased Starbucks here at SuperBuy South but PW&S has just as good (or better) and offers whole beans which they can grind for you if you wish. They have a digital scale also. Different flavors and kept cool and dark in the shop. I'm biased though, but love the coffee. Good prices also and the manager is pretty darn cute!

Very cool *Ido* I have done wild rose herbal cleanse before and liked a lot. Same kind of deal they gave you specific nutrients and had a set healthy menu plan. Sadly my coffee cravings did not leave me ha ha.

Keep up the good work on being so healthy smile

They give you a wide range of choice and it is a 3 column menu so 80% from 2 columns 20% from the third and some not all all foods. I just wish I had a full time cook for one meal a day would be perfect lol

Nothing compares to recently roasted coffee.

When you brew freshly roasted coffee (I assume you grind your own beans -- if not, you're not serious about coffee), you can watch the coffee "bubble" as the gas is released.

If you don't see it bubble, it's not recently roasted, and it's not fresh.

Serious coffee roasters will put the roast date on their coffee, but the release of gases is an even more reliable indicator.

My brother is a specialty coffee roaster in the U.S., and I rarely drink coffee that was roasted more than 7 days ago.

It really makes a difference!
