I know that I saw a picture of a palm tree that had been made to look like a dragon somewhere on the beach in San Pedro. We stayed WAY north of town last year and never saw them. Can anyone tell me where I might see one of these trees? Thanks!

There is one just south of Pelican Reef Resort located about 2.5 miles south of town.

Are you referring to the wonderfully shaped bamboo roots & posts that look like animals (rather than living coconut trees)?

It is actually just over 3 miles south of town.

Just depends if you count from Town square or edge of Town (where ever that is) or your favorite bar!

Way cool - and palms they are, not bamboo.
