What are the rates for property management in San Pedro?

I have seen anywhere from 10-15% for long term residential rentals, but others may charge a more, especially for vacation rentals. Pretty comparable to the US...

These companies perform a valuable service for homeowners, so it is worth the price if you find a good company to work with!

I have heard in the past up to 40%, just hear say no facts.

Check the details - it's very different for homes than for condo complexes.
Houses - the owner pays for all the housekeeping, supplies etc.
Condos - the management may pay for the supplies, staff etc.
So - check, and then evaluate the services.
Main thing is your bottom line - ask to see contracts and get estimates for costs that fall on your side of the ledger.

Calling and meeting repair persons.
Arranging for appliance repair or replacement?
Dealing with tenant problems?

..... the quality of services provided by property managers can be as different as night and day .... maybe ask around for some references

AND the owners can be as different as night and day too!
Some are easy to please others are impossible to please.

The owners are the other 1/2 of the equation. That is true.

Be careful who you use for property management. Contact the BTB and find a reputable company.
