Hello everyone! Tony and Yvonne here from Fido's Funsports on the island. We've been so busy we just got the chance to check the message board. We'd like to say "THANK YOU!!!!" for the very nice things said about parasailing with Tony on Fido's Dock. Many of you, rating it at the top of your "List of Things to do". This means a GREAT deal to us as there are tons of things here for everyone to do!! We're still finding in credible new adventures after four years here!

Here's an update on what's been going on with us:

On July 8th Tony and the crew made history hosting the first recorded parasail smile wedding in Belize on "Paradise" the Parasail Boat for Mr. & Mrs. John and Bridget Zlevor. Everyone had a blast and the guys we're so proud to be involved with such an important event. "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison played in the background on the stereo. The Bride through her bouquet smiling from the sky as Terry and Michele Colbert, their "Best People" and local friends cheered them on. Great FUN!!!

For those of you that stopped in at the Barefoot Iguana's new outside "Roadkill Bar" might have heard Tony singing again! We have taken over the bar and done something different there. We've added a small Palapa style bar outside the north end of the building (the old laundry mat for you locals). Christening the new stage was THE PALM TRIO, Gino on vocals and screaming guitar, Adam laying the grooves, and Jimmy "D" throwing down on the drums. THE PALM TRIO becomes THE TROPICAL STORM BAND when Tony steps up to sing. On August 5th Tony sang an original song written just for the winner of the Costa Maya Beauty Pageant "Miss Mexico" with TROPICAL STORM. The entire Costa Maya Beauty Pageant will be aired worldwide this Saturday the 14th on Spanish TV 7pm Belize Time. We will be ROCKING The Barefoot Iguana plus offering BIG screen sports in Ice Cold Air conditioning with Surround sound for everyone! See ya soon!

Thanks again,
Tony and Yvonne

We were there when the couple got married while parasailing. I helped pin the buttonierre (sp?) on the groom with a fishhook!

Tony,
You and the guys are the greatest and I have been trying to tell everyone that this is a must to do while on AC.
I mean you guys even help the Tuki Tuki bird fly, something she can't do by herself. Hope the ad in the San Pedro Sun comes out good, it is a deffinate "Thank You" from Tuki Tuki for helping her fly high.
Tuki Tuki
