From Belmopan...
The cold front has well and truly crossed Belize over night. The Clouds are coming in from almost directly North, but the surface wind over central Belize is NE. There are are clouds seen on the Satellite picture moving in different directions, so it is all a bit turbulent. Looks as if the main cloud area will blow over Belize during the day to give significant sunshine later. I recorded 9mm ( 1/3" ) of rain over night. NOAA have the cold front shown completely wrong, that is the back of the cold area way up high, the cold front that we can feel, that is on the surface is way down in Honduras. With Caribbean air still trying to push in. Which is why we feel surface wind from the NE and some clouds moving over Guatamala also from the NE.
I expect brighter weather, as this cold front moves further south, giving us increasing amounts of sunshine and no more rain. I think this cool weather will be with us for several days.
