3) Boca del Rió Bridge:



The Town Board was contacted yesterday by Cadet Anderson from the Ministry of Works and told to stop the construction on the bridge as it was stated that the permit was not signed and approval had not been given.

The plans were to have the bridge for this coming high season. Any delay would be very disappointing. There is already enough controversy on the type and building of the bridge itself. We can only hope that the "powers that be" do not make this bridge a political battlefield. The Chamber has been contacted by several members expressing concern on types of vehicles allowed to cross, and the deplorable condition of the road that presently exists.
