This tiem a real Rant:

IRS strikes again:
The IRS has determined that company/agency cell phones are for business use only and is a "benefit" if the employee uses it for personal calls. So this has created the following policy effective immediately:

For each month in which an employee has used the cellular phone for a non-business purpose, the employee will identify such uses, by highlighting on the appropriate monthly bill. For each non-business use other than one that qualifies as an exception pursuant to Section III(B) of this Policy, the employee will reimburse the County on a pro rata basis, such reimbursement shall include all applicable taxes and fees.

I can use the "hard line phone" without charge.
The cell phone was issued to me in order that my boss can contact me at his/her convenience.
The cell phone plan is a share planed between 10 phones, so we never go over the allotted minutes even with using for personal business. Since it is a "flat rate" the business will still pay the same!
Now they want me to use my own personal cell phone and will pay me a stipend of $12 per payday (bi-weekly) so I can still be reached at their convience.
Retirement is not far away!!!!!!!!!!
