I have never had the pleasure of meeting but one thing I know for sure is that we all miss people when they are gone who made us happy. By showing us how to be happy once with them however they give us the knowledge thru our memories forever.
This is why when it comes to the people we meet and come to love that our lives with them have beginnings and they have middles but they never really have ends because we keep each other's lives and stories living in our minds and hearts.
