I'll never forget his acceptance speech at the repube convention in 1984. He started wandering down some highway in the sky and never came back. i knew then his alzheimers symptoms were srarting to show publically. Not sure how much of his mind was really there by the end of his 2nd term.... shades of wilson when his wife was taking care of business after his health problems began.... not much said, quietly everything goes on....
