Thanks for the info Marty. I have some friends that are former (elite) gymnasts and had the opportunity to meet one of their friends several years ago. He was also a world (or at least national) title holder. Back in those days (and probably well into the 90's) most people who jumped on the trampolines (competitively) were gymnasts.
