Mefloquine & Larium are one and the same. Lan;s right - there are some serious side effects from Mefloquine....."neuropsychiatric adverse events" in 1 of 140, and other worse side effects as well.
CDC site recommends Chloroquine:
"Chloroquine is the recommended drug for Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica, and the Bocas Del Toro Province of Panama."
