yes, it is different for everyone. . . and so many great places have been listed.

breakfast- monkey bites (huevos rancheros especially)
lunch- caliente, blue water, elvi's, jade garden (really good veggie burgers), ali baba's
dinner- blue water (most consistent and worth the money), casa picasso, rojo lounge. . . for lunch, dinner and great drinks (a boat ride, but so worth it and sooooo good!)

Simon B and Travel Queen, regarding the place way far south, are you referring to restuarant at Victoria House or El Divino????

Caramba's. El Patio. El Divino (at Banana Beach). Lily's & Rubies (breakfast). Street vendors. Caliente's. Duane's kitchen. VH.

Monkey Bites is at Exotic Caye (I haven't eaten there yet)

Victoria House is about 2 miles south of town. The food and ambiance are superb, although a bit pricey.
El Divino is at Banana Beach, and they have WONDERFUL breakfasts. For a quick breakfast, Monkey Bites at Exotic Caye is perfect.
My favorite lunch place is Caliente's, but I also recently discovered the tacos at Mickeys. YUMMY!!!
But, hands down, Casa Picasso's the SIMPLY THE BEST! The tapas are unforgettable, but save room for dessert! Seriously, the best way to get the whole experience is to go with several people and do round robins----- take a taste and pass it around. The creme brulee is always my favorite, but Colby turned me on to the Kahlua sundae.... and then there is Dee's favorite... Cracked Coconut.
(Jenn and Chris, if you are reading this, I miss you guys. I'm starving!!)
Of course, these places were all ranked second to Ova di Wata, but that is gone (sob, sob).

Yes, Vicki, the food at Ova Di Wata was really good...by any chance, is the chef still on the caye and if so, where?

Chap is now at Sundiver, up north.
Much of the rest of our staff went to the Rojo Lounge. Give them hugs and tell them I love and miss them terribly.
