S&S, I guess I'm a little like you--each party involved (other than my friend who just sat there quietly) could have, in retrospect, done things a little differently. I really wasn't mentioning it to point fingers, and as you can see, everyone or no one is to blame. The woman didn't have to be so blunt to the folks, and the people didn't have to push by my friend (although he really wasn't upset). When I was in high school, I worked second-shift at a textile mill, and I'd come in at 4:00 to work. The first shift people got off right as I was coming in, and God forbid if you get in their way as they tore out the door--they'd run you over rather than spend another minute there. I guess everybody was ready for the lunch or siesta.
