Recommendations on Restaurants and bars, for san pedro and for close to where we are staying 3 and half miles south of san pedro.

didnt go to casa picasso, but hear it kicks ass....the blue water grill was good...capricorn was good too....however, it has been a while since i was there so the names could have changed...

alot of people like to tout the locals who cook on trash can lids....i just couldnt seem to make myself pony up...

Sue and texas ,the below best restaurant post will be a big help. but 3 miles south ,is a piece of cake and very easy to get to great dinning. You can drive gas golf cart /taxi to many good places south. Or take boat to the others up north for a nice evening out under the stars,by boat take island ferry, and you leave/ depart from town center by fido's dock. go live the dream and enjoy..

A taxi ride pretty much anywhere on the island should be the same irrespective of the # of people $10 Bz ($5 US) + tip.

sue and texas , a taxi you say around 3 miles to town.just a guess? six people 10 to 12 belize dollars or $6 us thats one way again , just a guess but in that range ??I rent a gas golf cart and love the freedom to come and go....

A taxi for 6 people 3 miles south will cost at least $15US. Some of taxi guys late at night will try and get as much as $30 US out of you or they will charge more for each passenger over 3 or 4. I would rent a cart. All the roads down south have been fixed (for now) so driving your own cart should make your life easier.

There you go jzb knows taxi prices as they live way south.So renting a gas golf cart is the smart move!!! go enjoy...
