I can't beleive it. The same thing happend to us last year...... We made three approaches before landing. The fog wasn't bad though. I never have figured out why, but the second ascent we banked so hard to the left I thought the pilot was going to dip it. Couldn't even see the sky!!! :0

If Mrs.Zeke reads this board Bigzeke will be having a solo vacation in June. She ain't a very good flyer on commercial flights. Think I better get some cocktails in her before takeoff.

That's funny...a similar incident happened to me........flying into PA!!!!

I was once going on a long weekend vacation with a bunch of highschool girlfriends. Of course, we were around 31 at the time but acting pretty goofy all the same. The Flight Attendant launches into his spiel and says the preamble and then pointedly to us "and if you are travelling with small children, or those *acting* like small children . . . "

Jane, on an approach into Cancun, we were this close to landing when all of a sudden we do a very sharp ascent. Then around and try it all over again. The pilot told one of my buddies that that was his first time encountering an airplane on his piece of runway during a landing. Phew! Sure glad he knew what to do even without the prior experience. :^)
