Hope...saw the weather erport and thought of you all. Looks like you'll be ok now that the temp went up. The good news is the drought is going to be quelled.
We got a deluge of rain yesterday..I looked like a wet rat...had to unload a pickup full of lumber in that stuff.
Have a great time...down to 2...and 29 days...

Have a wonderful time Hope & family! We'll be heading down in June. Can't wait.

Took some pictures of the snow at our place. Had way too much beer, but it made the hand shoveling tolerable.

Here are some pics: http://community.webshots.com/album/66875139VFjfOc

Cheers!
Loie

Loie,
I really enjoyed the pictures!!! I haven't seen snow in YEARS and on occasion I really miss it. The houses where you are, are just adorable. Like little picture postcards. Looks like a very nice place to live. Sierra looks like he/she was having such a good time. Is that your dog? Loved your snowman too. SO JEALOUS... It looked like SO MUCH FUN! I know you're anxious for warm sand and sun though. Not much longer now... Debbie smile

Hey Debbie,

Sierra the snow dog is just a visitor. She's staying with our neighbors, but she had a great time catching snowballs. Our neighborhood is cute, isn't it?

The weather folks are saying that if everything lines up correctly we're due for another big one this Thursday nite. I'd better make sure there's beer in the fridge!

Cheers,
Loie

Wow, those pics remind me of why I live where it doesn't snow! My friend up in Golden was housebound for 4 days and couldn't go to work. She says the neighbors were all calling to see if she had food and alcohol and she did, so they were all coming over to her place.

Imarquis and Loie,
I remember those snowed in days when I lived in New Mexico. BBBbbbbbrrrrr...... It was cold. But I kind of liked it. Big pot of soup, hot chocolate, a roaring fire in the woodstove, all the window curtains pulled back so I could watch it snow, my big fluffy slippers on, and no one to bother me. BUT.... by all means make sure you have beer and alcohol laugh Boredom eventually sets in, and irish coffee is not bad........ :p

Debbie-

Robert here, Loie's hubby. You better share that Irish Coffee recipe as there was no hot chocolate or Irish Coffee in the house. Plus, I had to trek to the neighbors for beer. What a slack wife I have. She should have made me Irish Coffee while I was shoveling snow. She did make cookies so I can grumble too loudly.

Slackers....I had myself dug out by 5AM and never missed a day of work (never ran outta booze, either!) However, being older (and wiser) than RobtE, I am sure my back hurts alot more than his does!

Okay Robert E and the Pirate.... So between the two of you, who's smarter??? The stone cold sober one with his back intact, or the drunk with his back out????? laugh laugh laugh
You guys are to funny.
Robert E. Of course on the snowed in days, the Irish coffe didn't have fresh cream or even whipped cream, but canned milk did come in handy in the pinch!!! (Not as good mind you, but functional) Debbie
