Or in the immortal words of Red Fox, AKA Fred Sanford, rum if ya have some, beer if it's near, wine will do fine, brandy if it's handy,.....I'm a non-partisan drinker.

For some reason I just can't seem to remember much more than it's equal parts of something with a little something tossed in, and that it hurts just fine. Damn, I wish that I could remember.

I'll just have to ask Papashine, I KNOW he'll not forget it.

Meyers and fresh squeezed orange juice. Mixed about half and half........a good drunk and a dose of health food besides.

Ya know all those young European backpackers that are diving and whooping it up in Thailand, mix all their drinks with Red Bull. They say it is very healthy. Knocked me on my ass but then again, I'm just a tad older than those youngsters.

Thank heaven's for the Red Bull. Those kids could almost keep up to me.
wink

well, this subject caused me to look back over my drinking life adn started to laugh at things that popped into my mind.

20's Sambuca, Beer and whatever was available
30's Beer and Dago Red and Sambuca
40's Sambuca and Good Red Wine
50's Sambuca, Good Red Wine, Margaritas

Wherever I am and order Sambuca it absolutely must be served the right way or it goes back.... and keeps going back until it is right. One night I was in a place called Palumbo's in South Philly. Mr. Palumbo just happened to be standing at my table and we were chatting. The waiter came with my Sambuca, but not the right way. Frank Palumbo nearly had a stroke on the spot and he chewed the waiter out big time. The waiter did bring it the right way eventually... and all was safe at Palumbo's that night. eek

I was just wondering what is the wrong way to serve a sambuca? One bean instead 2? 2 beans instead of 3?

Very good seashell... the only acceptable way is 3 coffee beans.

Do you know why it is served with 3 coffee bveans?
