Thanks for your help, Just wanted everyone to know I am not a ghost or have bad intentions. I take sailing trips to different areas of the world three times a year. I know this is the best way to get "local" and current information.
How many days is needed to enjoy the trip from san pedro to placencia. any other info on bars/ food good anchorages on the way south would be greatly appreciated.

Your best advice will come from the experts at TMM

As I mentioned before there's just too much information to provide here. I used to do the chart briefings for TMM and they take an hour or more to go through all the places to see, things to do and anchorages to use and avoid. Relax it'll all be taken care of when you arrive.

Poo, don't mind the flame retardents here that give out such unwelcoming vibes. They are leary of anyone new near their Belize info food dish.

Here are a couple of links I sent to my friends who did the SP to Placencia sail last summer. TMM does a great job with the briefings/check-out. Also, SimonB is "the man" for provisioning in SP. You'll have a great time.

7 days is plenty of time, we used to do it in 12 hours when moving the boats between bases to give you some reference of the distance.
