K, you caught me on a good day. It has been hovering in the high 80's for the last few weeks, and now is back there again. Very little rain. Probably won't need your parka and boots.

Maple Grove, I believe you mentioned Plymouth, our southern "neighbor".

wow, great memory. Yep. Neighbor! Raised in Plymouth, school at Univ of MN for 4 yrs, then 5 yrs in Vegas for business, and now SP! We're going to MN in 28 sleeps, but staying downtown and perhaps a little in Apple Valley where the family has now moved.

Enjoy your stay. Hopefully it will have cooled down a bit. I had assumed family was here (as that would be the ONLY reason someone should visit here from there).

True, though lots of fun things to show him and do.

Mall of America
Canteberry Downs
Valley Fair
Rollerblade/Picnic Lake Harriet
Uptown
Mpls Comedy Club
Nascar
Paintball
Twins Game
Concerts at Target Center
MN STATE FAIR-which you could spend all day at!
DOWNTOWN (plenty there you know)

So 5 days should go fast and be a blast!

NASCAR? The only one I haven't done. Isn't that where you get a big pickup truck, paste a big Nascar sticker in the back window, thereby proclaiming to everyone that their "puny traffic laws don't apply to me"? That's how it works in Texas. laugh

Enjoy your visit.

Yesterday it was 114.6 degrees outside at 3:30pm in South San Jose, CA. I'm hoping for 10 degrees cooler today - working on my roof and I only got in 3 hours before it was unbearable today frown

Cold front finally came through Dallas and we've got 95 degrees - at least the humidity has dropped significantly. Unfortunately, I know from experience that the worst is yet to come. cool

111 over the weekend here in Northern California, some spots a few degrees hotter. Humidity is high. We have broken records for the most consecutive days over 100 degrees.

Yep - California is pretty miserable these days. Fresno broke heat records all weekend, power is going out, plus lightning storms in the foothills have started some pretty bad fires. I wanna go to the beach.
