San Pedro is one place where I often find myself being in "living the dream moments"

This morning waking up in our new apartment and laying in bed watching the palm tree swaying in the wind was one of those times.

Pretty much every day I think of how lucky we are to be here.

Well this post just gets better by the day !!!!!!!! ..The Newbies who are looking at this post ,and are comming here for the first time must think we are very strange?? ..Well we all must have been bitten by the same bug!!!!!!!!!!!!!because we are saying the same thing,LTD. in sanpedro rocks !!!!!!!!!!!!!

San Pedro inspired me to write this poem

My Heart Belongs to Belize

How can I give my heart to thee
When it belongs to Belize
Where the sea rushes to shore
To meet sandy beaches & more
Where people swim with sting rays,
Nurse sharks, & Un-expecting prey
The Barrier Reef with beautiful coral
Makes a magnficent underwater mural
Where the sun shines on the friendly faces
In all the wonderful places
Holiday, Daddy O's, Playador
Ramons, Fido's, and more
Decorated in tropical flowers
They serve up fun fill happy hours
Where the sea rushes to shore
To meet sandy beaches & more
How can I give my heart to thee
When it belongs to Belize

Looking up I see the most amazing blue sky with high, white puffy clouds full of magnificent frigates, pelicans and osprey. When I look forward I see the water breaking over the second largest barrier reef in the world - is it really that close? When I look down I can see amazing creatures like Southern Stingrays, starfish, eels and fish of all colours. When I walk down the road I see all the lovely people in my adopted community. I hope this dream lasts.
