So, you got the cat, he got the dog. All depends on perspective. Relationships are like a business deal. You both bring something to the table that you are willing to trade. Up front is better, weeds out the people in bad faith dealing. On the other hand, a lot less romantic. Oh well. I guess I just got lucky first time around.
