Sin, Does crystal water (Bowen) sell coolers at the San Pedro location?

The two new hardware stores Amul's and San Pedro (southside) have both been good about returning items for us that did not work, for an exchange and small items for a refund. We have also bought quite a bit from Castillo's and returned a couple things. No one charged us 10%, but when I was in Belize city we ask about returning an items if we found we bought to much and were told "of course there is a 10% restocking fee."

Not my choice.

Ah! Speaking of Lebanese, and I love everyone equally but the mention of Lebanese had me thinking of this, the last time I was down, a friend and I were in one of the supermarkets (I won't say which one but owned by the Lebanese) the guy was so rude when my friend wanted to return ice cream. Actually, the entire scene was darn right funniest thing I have ever seen. If I hadn't been so hungover, I would have died from laughter but instead I just stood there observing, but laughing in my own mind. Good times for sure...

Sorry that happened to you 2mile! You're good people - I'm sure it was just bad luck for you. frown

Have a great night all and be SAFE!!

BTW, the ice cream was freezer burnt and looked to have been melted and refrozen and repacked perhaps. Not good.

I saw some water coolers at Amal hardware to the south. I do not remember the price though.

I rent my cooler from Bowen too. You can buy them at Mirab in Belize City.

Usually when you buy and install a cooler you have to let it settle for hours before you plug it in. If you don't something goes wrong with the coolant. Did you check the instructions before you plugged it in?

I'm not trying to defend anybody/company, but I I do know that when you install a fridge, a/c unit, water cooler there is a time lag you must wait prior to enjoying the coolness.

Maybe AC could use one of those 'rent-all' stores, where you can rent everything from a back hoe, or a lawn mower to party supplies.

Amanda, Yes we did let it sit for a couple of hours before putting the water bottle on and plugging it in. 2 days later it still was not cold. TQ, Funny story I can imagine the look on your face confused. Taco, I will check into it when I return thanks. I'm surprised no one told me I should just throw it through the front window of the store eek.
