Casa Caracol I think would work well for you...especially the 1st floor. It's close to town for the kids to be able to go and come as they please...but still on the beach. Plus if you hangout at the Tides pool bar (closest one to the house) they don't care if you use the hotel pool right there (at least not when we were there). My wife and I are returning to AC for our 3rd trip....will be our 2nd stay at Casa Caracol. Very nice place that is affordable and close to town.

Banana Beach, Banyan Bay, Xanadu & Exotic Caye all have 3 bedroom units. All have pools and all except Xanadu have restaurants on site. I know of another private house that has a 3 & 4 bedroom units for families, and a pool but is not beachfront. Good value though. ww.belizeholidayrental.com
