I was there during the strike Apr. of '05 and DID have problems with credit cards/ATM and my flight was canceled.

Well if they strike March 10th - it will be just in time for my visit. They must know we will be there. For the last strike in April of 05 I had no flight problems (keep my fingers crossed this trip). But with the availability of VOIP and Hughes net and all that - I dont understand why there would be a problem unless they dont have VOIP - which it seems most do. Well i cannot think of a better place to be stuck! Better than Chicago.

Just curious, what is the status of the pending strike? Are they out on strike now? I've been trying to get ahold of my resort/hotel via email for a few days and it gets returned as undeliverable. It might be them though cuz it does say over quota.

We wanna bring a laptop with us (good info on line and of course you all!!) to keep up on daily things and have a connection with some things at home. I was wondering how much wireless connectivity there is, esp from our hotel... Seven Seas. Anyone know or even if there are any wi-fi restaurants close by? I don't plan to carry the thing around, just check in with stuff in the mornings.

Don't have enough support and doubt they'll get it.

So the BTL strike is a non-issue at this time?
