The problem with "electric" on-demand water heaters is that the good ones usually require a 200 AMP circuit just for the unit itself.

Scubaldy needs a pressure relief valve or two in the right spot. A small pressure tank will help also if you don't have one.

yeah we have a solar water heater and when the weather gets super hot it drains water out thru a pressure valve. if the hot overflow goes out into the yard it kills ...

at out place it cascades off the roof, a boiling waterfall, into the gutter and the gutter takes it into the storm drainage

I bought two pressure release valves in California and my electrician (?) says they won't work. ???
After blowing up a lot of plastic pipe I asked him to put in copper. He put in galvanized. I get that he didn't know how to do copper and couldn't tell me.
My neighbor says the galvanized will go in no time.
What a circus this is.
But hey - it keeps me laughing.

Maybe the problem is that you hired an electrician instead of a plumber?
