I would say shorts and tanks are fine, or even shorts and your bikini top, but I think just wearing a bikini around town will cause some golf cart wrecks! Belize it or not (hyuk hyuk!), Belizeans can be fairly modest. If you really just want to stay in your bikini, maybe bring a colourful pareo for a quick cover-up?

I always wear shorts and a bikini top around town/beach. It's sort of my staple apparel! Middle Street can get pretty toasty if you're not used to the heat (yes, this coming from a Texan!) but I always throw a t or tank on when going into a business establishment.

Lol, my wardrobe pretty much consists of short shorts, mini skirts and midi tops, but hey, it's just clothes.
This is not Southwest, you won't get thrown off the plane :-)

Alessandra, you wear what you want. i'm sure your momma raised you just fine and you will show the good people and vacationers of Belize the respect they deserve. While you enjoy yourself. and if there is any trouble i'll be around to bail you out of jail. even on vacation i'm still a half decent Attorney. enjoy SP

If I want to wear a swimsuit around town or going into businesses, I just throw my sarong around me. All you need for a day out is your swim suit and a not too see through sarong. Use your common sense. You'll have a great time.

The week-end I quit smoking, many years ago, and this almost 20 year old girl kept pestering me. I warned her over and over that I was not being too together. Finally she came crying to me and asked "Why does everyone treat me like I'm a whore?" I snapped back "If you didn't dress like a whore maybe people wouldn't treat you like one."
We are responsible for the reactions we get by the way we dress and the way we act. So, dress accordingly.

Wait a minute, are we supposed to treat whores differently than we treat everybody else?
I think if you got it flaunt it. Trust me - it is a rare women that can continue to look hot for more than 50 years!! And I believe that even once you hit your 40's your bits and pieces just don't compare to a women in her 20's.
Prime example - look at Britney Spears (all her troubles aside) she will be able to go back and look at the Toxic video for the rest of her life and say "dang, was I hot or what." I can't do that....
