I am one of the main nags on here concerning Tammy. I cannot understand why we have had no word from her. I feel she is okay but don't know why no one has reported seeing her or talking to her or even a third or fourth-hand report of someone knowing of her status.
Sorry, you had to cancel your trip but Mother nature had other ideas, I guess.
We are scheduled to go on a cruise with friends on Oct. 15th and I am hoping the weather cooperates with us then. It is not our first cruise (our 5th or 6th actually) but it is the first time for one couple going with us and I want it to be a smooth one. We were on a cruise ship about 3 or 4 years ago that went through a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico...20 ft. seas the first night...whew! If it had been my first cruise...it would have definitly been my last, but we knew they weren't all like that so we have been back again.

As property owners on Ambergris, we were among the fortunate who lost only our boat. Our house weathered Keith just fine and almost all friends are safe and accounted for by the grace of GOD. My wife and I have made a contribution to the fund to help those less fortunate. We would like to encourage others to do the same. After all, San Pedro has given so much to all of us.

Yes, I live in Camarillo. At the old state hospital, 3 square meals a day and all the Thorazine I can eat! Just kidding :-) Yes I do live there in town.

Thanks for all the updates. Sounds more encouraging everytime I read the board. My husband & I prepaid our trip to AC, last month, go figure. (air and hotel) This will be our 1st time, and by the quick reaction and everyone diving into help, it MUST be a wonderful place! Our tickets are for Oct 15th arrival, but obviously, don't want to be a part of the problem, so will reschedule to the next weekend. I'll check the board and see what else is needed when it gets closer to that time. Then pack up relief stuff to bring with us. Hopefully things will be back to semi normal, and if there is still help needed (which I'm sure there will be) we can do that when we are there as well.
