In the longer term you should always get the installation CDs when you buy a computer and keep them safe. I'm surprised that you didn't get them with a Lenovo, as that's quite an up-market computer. The real problem isn't Windows itself, though it is a problem if you don't have it or have access to a copy, but the device drivers. Without them aspects of your computer won't work, and it can be a very lengthy process on-line finding them. Assuming you can get on-line in the first place, as often some of the missing drivers are those that drive the internet connection.

I am in East Texas and we are NOT used to ice!!!! (I know I'll catch h311 from some of you for my complaint here about a little ice, but I like to ride my motorcycle year round and this ain't working)

Ditto on the motorbike, but if I had been in England this past year I doubt I'd have ridden mine for more than a few months. Now it's snow and ice, before that it was floods (at least twice) and high winds.

I'd love to have that bike here, but it would be way uneconomic to bring it.

I might have gotten the discs but i cant find em. I have ordered a set($50). When they arrive i will attempt to fix this &@#%!*&(). What anti-virus do you guys recommend. I have been using AVG.
