Just in case you have forgoten how OLD you are !!!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't tell me your age; you'd probably lie anyway-but the Hershey Man will know!

YOUR AGE BY CHOCOLATE MATH

DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST!
It takes less than a minute
Work this out as you read .
Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out!
This is not one of those waste of time things, it's fun.

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

3. Add 5

4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the calculator

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1759 ..
If you haven't, add 1758.

6.. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number

The first digit of this was your original number
(i.e., how many times you want to have chocolate each week).

The next two numbers are

YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!)
THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2009) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO HAVE FUN WHILE IT LASTS.
Chocolate Calculator.

Now, how about one of the mathematicians on the Board, explaining how this works! laugh

It said I was 35. I'm quite sure I'm not that old.

I suggest you try a little math tutoring from pug. smile

If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before.

Its not quite "the only year this will work" AZ Bob.

The key is to get to 2009, and then subtract your birth year, so you could say

"How many times do you like to eat chocolate" and multiply by 100, add it to 2009 (or 08 if you haven't passed your birthday) and then subtract your birth year

How many oranges do you eat a week? Pick a number 1-10

Go through a series of simple +,x divide or subtract to get a "spacing" of 100, so that when you do the final subtraction the first of the 3 digits is your "chosen" number, and the last 2 are your age

1 x2=2+5=7x50=350
2x2=4+5=9x50=450
9x2=18+5=23x50=1150
10x2=20+5=25x50=1250

The hundreds column remains the # of oranges, and you then add or subtract to reach your birth year

In 2012 for instance, the "magic number" would be 1761 (or 2)

Sorry Bob frown

PS if you are over 99 this will not work.....

I can't explain why women find me so irresistible?

Wit, charm, intelligence and being hung like a donkey have all been suggested, but alas so far only by me frown
