Ok I did hear that you had to get new plates if you only had ONE. This was on Channel 7...but nothing about the BZE/SP plate thing.....geez...guess I'll have to check now.

I just spoke to Idolly and she NOW says, Councillor Severo came down later this morning and decided that yes after all it has to be done by tomorrow.
Grrr!

OH---and she says it's been on channel 7 for a month and in the newspapers!

The only thing on Channel 7 was about having only one plate
I know because I immediately went out and checked to see if we had one or two, and realizing we had two, let it go

I was stopped at a checkpoint last week and they said I needed two plates, nothing about the new SP plates. I was stopped 5 days later (tues)and suddenly you need the SP plates. It was the very first time I have heard about it, like everyone else I'm sure.

I'm on the phone with Coral Cable and they said there was something run about the week of June 11 for 1 week but she didn't know what was reported. I called Dorian from Ambergris Today and he says no, nada, and he's pretty certain nothing was in the SP Sun either.
Meanwhile I've sent my grandson in to get it done to be on the safe side.Hope he's back in time as I need the cart at 1:00 to go to work at the clinic! What a nuisance.

As I have said many times before, much to the dismay of some, IF YOU TELL ME WHAT THE RULES ARE I WILL FOLLOW THEM!

Just went back and forth 4 to 5 times and got it done. Well almost, got to go back again tomorrow and pick up the new copy of the registration.........
